Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

I sold a truck to private party, he gave down payment with balance due in 2 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks. he now says there is this and that wrongwith it. It was sold as is. He has the title, can I reposess this vehicle and if so how do i go about it?

How much did you sell it for? Hope not much. Otherwise, your best remedy is to sue him in court and get the balance of the purchase price. I am hoping you have something in writing to memorialize your agreement. Your remedy at law is conversion of property. Good Luck.
