soldiers infecting other soldiers with herpes

virgin soldier (21) reservist goes oconus; meets ac inf soldier. he lied about marital status. he also gave soldier herpes. what course of legal action can she take on the civilian sector, also who does she begin to talk to with the military? the guy is knowingly passing his disease to innocent victims while he is overseas. his wife may also have the disease.

There was some case law about 15 years ago regarding knowingly transferring herpes as a civil tort. I'd have to research it again to know that the courts are doing these days. You sue in civil court over torts, if they are serious enough and this does appear to be serious enough. I would assume you should also speak with a superior officer or maybe JAG.
