Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

Statute of limitations on judgements in NYS

Is a judgement good for 10 or twenty years in NYS? I have a judgement against someone and after 10 years I received a paper stating that I needed to pay 150 dollars to keep it in force. I didn't pay the money because I didn't have it at the time. It's now been 12 years and I have finally located this persons assets. Is my judgement enforceable or no good anymore? Thanks for any help.

It's 20 years BUT is only a lien on real properety for 10 unless you re-new.
