Suing an attorney
Hi,
I had a personal injury lawsuit for a severe injury going through the appeals process. The attorney for the opposing side who gave me a deposition has me advertised on his website showing that he was successful in defeating my case. Could this have altered the appeals outcome by showing he was already successful in defeating me has damaged my case because he did not win at that time. Appeals were being filed and the decision was being made. He advertised he won my case. He listed other lawsuits he was successful in winning but mine was #1 on the list. Thank you very much.

I would highly doubt that the attorney's advertisement would have any effect on the appellate decision.

I highly doubt it. I can't tell whether you were appealing a dismissal or verdict at the time, but it sounds from your question as though your case had been dismissed, and you were trying to get the decision reversed. If that was the case while perhaps he should have used a bit more judgment then to list an active case, I can't imagine how it could have altered the outcome. If there is an appeal, I am not certain that either side won or lost. Your inquiry is not completly clear ... who would you sue, and for what?
