Telephone taping and impersenation on telephone owner

I am going through a divorce. Upon returning from a trip to the marital house I found 4 cassettes taped of my telephone by my wife. In them her lover is trying to identify the telephone calls that I was making while in europe with Bell Atlantic and WorldCom Teelecommunications. My wife and her lover were busy in trying to locate to who I was talking and her lover Identified himself as me to Worldcom in order to Identify a telephone number I made.

In NY it's generally okay to tape a phone call to which you are a party.

It's generally not permitted, to tape a call to which you are not a party, where they don't know you are listening.

Of course it's not legal to misrepresent who you are.
