I filed a product liabilty suit over four years ago.How long does it generally takes to reach a settlement or go to trial?

Depends on a number of factors including the complexity of the suit, the number of parties, the number of suits on file within a jurisdiction and how quickly all of the pre-trial discovery gets done.
