Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
I won a money judgement from small claims court and cannot collect because the person has/owns nothing of value, (All other executions came back negitive(Bank account and motor vehicle) and she doesnt make enough money to do an income execution) is there a way to garnish this persons income tax return? If so how and where can i do this?
The only thing I saw that close to what i was looking for was a writ of garnishment form from michigan, and i was told by my local district court that no one has ever herd of this.

Try the bank again to see if the same balance comes up. If not, it means there is some activity and you should try again, preferably on payday - the last or first day of the month. Otherwise, serve the debtor with a debtor's subpoena and question hi
about his assets and employment under oath.
