Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

I won a trial but toward the end of the trial, it became obvious that the defense tactics was frivolous and just for the purpose of delaying the final disposition. What are the possible steps taken to penalize such conduct, monetarily or otherwise?

You would have to file a motion for sanctions and attorneys fees for frivolous conduct.
