Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
When I worked for a printing company a business credit card was obtained in my name. When I left the company I asked them to transfer to card into someone else's name. The person who applied was rejected. The company pays the bill late and is jeopardizing my credit rating. I have emails from the VP indicating they accept full responsibility for the bill and will pay it,and also saying he is working on having it transferred. The amount is around $20,000. I know that is too high to sue in small claims court. Where would and how would someone go about filing a suit against the company for the amount of the credit card bill?

You would have to file an action at the New York State Supreme Court in Buffalo.
