Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York
''year old sale''
One year ago, when I lived in New York State, I sold a race engine, in parts, to a man in Nova Scotia, Canada. I attached no warranty. He just called me, over one year later, claiming damage to the engine's crank shaft. Does he have justification for a suit?

Re: ''year old sale''
It depends on the fact surrounding the sale. It's possible that you gave him a verbal warranty.
