Legal Question in Health Care Law in New York
Dentures
My mother is 79 years old. She had all of her teeth removed in April to get dentures. Friday 11/09/07 she finally got her upper plate that fits, however her bottom plate still does not fit. She was eating baby food at the beginning and now she has to use a blender on everything she eats. She is very depressed and I have been told she has lost a lot of weight. I don't think it is right that it is taken over 6 months to get part of her dentures. Do you have any suggestions?

Re: Dentures
It does sometimes take some time and can be quite frustrating. As a practical matter, there is not really anything you can do. Keep "bugging" the doctor.
