Are medical companies allowed to bill you for services rendered four years prior?

This can be answered in two ways.
The statute of limitations for medical billing is 6 years. In other words the medical company can not sue you for payment after 6 years.
However, this can be shortened by your contract. Read your contract to see if there is anything to shorten the time period
