Power of attorney
How does a husband get power of attorney from his wife when she has Dementia? What is the procedure? and what has to be done? What kind of documents does he need to have or attain in order to proceed on this matter? Who can do a power of attorney in this type of case?

Nothing can be done if she does not have the mental ability to understand and sign the power. The person must be able to understand what they are signing, otherwise the Power of attorney may be successfully challenged.
