My friend has 26 year old gf whos a US Citizen, but has never worked in her life. He came here in 94 on a G-4 visa and is currently out of status but filed for a work visa before the deadline of april 2000. since theres a long wait cause of further screening implemented in 2007 is it advisable to marry her and speed up the process?

Re: My 26 year old US Citizen gf

The fact your fiancee has not worked is not a bar to your ability to adjust status. You will most likely need a cosponsor to file an affidavit of support to meet the necessary financial requirements.

You should consult with an experienced immigration attorney before filing for any immigration benefits.
