Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Acquiring H1B visa from Associate Degree
I am in US with F1 visa status. I have completed my Associate degree in Computer Science and I have three years of work experience within US in software field.
I would like to know whether these situations qualify me as a recipient of H1B visa( in case a company sponsors me) or not.
Currently I am in my secnd last year for completion of my B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
Thank You.

Re: Acquiring H1B visa from Associate Degree
To obtain an H1B visa, you need a bachelors or equivalent experience. For every year of education you are missing, you need 3 years of equivalent experience. Only an evalutation service can determine if your combined experince and education is equivalent to a bachelors degree.
