Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I sent an application for a work authorization to the immigration office in Chicago, I was advised that it usually takes two weeks to get a receipt. But being that I also sent a fee waiver for the application, it'll take longer. My tracking number for the mail said it was delivered on january third 2016. I'll like to know how long it will take to get a receipt number
