approval notice

i sent an application to renew my green card , i did my fingerprint already, i received a letter form the USCIS , said NOTICE TYPE: APPROVAL NOTICE.

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THE MEANING OF THIS LETTER?

While I would need to see the actual notice, most likely, the approval notice means that your application to renew your green card was approved and that you will be getting a new card.
