Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

i was brought to the usa when i was 13 yrs old in 2000 on someone's documents and havent left since but i was petitioned for by m step mom in 2004 but my case is still pending now im married to a u.s citizen who just recovered from cancer and chemo treatment now disabled from the effects of her sickness and needs my help for simply things like bathing etc i wanted know if i can adjust my status in the state or if i have good chance of putting myself in removal proceeding then apply for cancellation of removal proceeding

First, you should find out what happened with the case filed for you by your stepmother. Second, based on the information you have provided, you may be eligible to obtain permanent residence while in the US, either by applying for a fraud waiver or based on a petition previously filed for a family member.
