If you have been waiting a long time for the adjudication of your naturalization application, you should consider filing a complaint in a federal district court to compel the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to make a decision on your application.

Delays of up to a year are usually normal, but if you have been waiting since 2005, it is advisable to file a mandamus action in federal court. Usually, the USCIS delays are attributable to background and FBI clearances that are required to complete an application. A federal complaint usually helps expedite the process.

Our firm concentrates in immigration federal litigation. If you wish to consult with us about your specific case, please feel free to call or email.
