Since you entered the country with inspection and have married a US citizen, you do potentially have a chance at a green card. However, there are various risks involved in navigating the process and as such I highly recommend that you seek the assistance of an immigration lawyer. Please contact me if you'd like more information.

Since you entered the U.S. legally and are married to a U.S. citizen, you are eligible to adjust status to that of a permanent resident.

I strongly recommend that you consult with immigration counsel to assist you with the administrative process. We have substantial experience with this type of marriage-based case and regularly represent individuals who reside in New York.
