Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Citizenship background check pend
I filed for N400 on 08-08-2006. Since then I only had fingerprints and not even an interview. USCIS replied my twice that my background check is pending. Is there any way I can force USCIS to process my case?

You can file for mandamus in federal court to expedite your application. The liklihood of success depends on the individual set of facts.
