Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Conditional green card

Hi, I am married for 3 and half years to US citizen. We went to the interview, 2 months before our second anniversary, and they gave me conditional green card, August 2007. I need to send I751 now. We still do live in the same apartment, renting it. We do live in NYC. We didnt travel because of our financial situation. I went home to see my parents but we could afford to pay a ticket for both of us. We dont have any property together or a car because we dont need it or cant afford it. We still dont have children because i work nights. I read that Immigration asked many people for extra evidence. What can I send them to prove that my marriage is real?

Other evidence you can provide really depends on the particulars of your situation. Photographs of the two of you and your respective families are highly recommended. Evidence that you reside at the same address. You should consult with an immigration attorney to discuss how to best prepare your case.

You can review the instructions to Form I-1751 on USCIS's website to learn about the evidence that USCIS requires for these applications. When couples are filing the I-751 application jointly, it is rare that they are called for an interview at USCIS, if they submit a substantial amount of evidence with the initial application. Additionally, if you are concerned about the evidence that you have, you should consult with an immigration attorney who can provide you with advice for your specific case.
