Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

EB1 eligibility

Hi,

Do I need to have L1-A for EB1. I heard L1-B also can file for GC under EB1. Is it true?

Re: EB1 eligibility

To be eligible for EB1 you do not need L-1A. EB1 is for people with extraordinary abilities or skills.

L1-B can file for GC under certain circumstances.

You can contact our firm if you need further assistance.

Re: EB1 eligibility

You do not need to have an L-1A to file for an EB-1. There are different categories of EB-1 immigrant visas, and thus different eligibilty requirements for each type of EB-1 visa. You should speak with an attorney to determine your eligibility.
