Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

entry permission

I am a Canadian who was convicted in 1992 on a Federal crime in in New York.

SInce then, I have been refused entry to the USA by the immigration department.

Is there any procedures I can follow to delist my name from this immigration black list? or ways to delist or down grade my status from the Federal Conviction list? my purpose is to get entry to the USA, so that I can take holidays with my son in the States.

Please help. Thank you .

Re: entry permission

In the situation you have described, you can never be removed from the Service LookOut Book.

Best case scenario would be applying for an I-192 waiver at the port of entry. It it's approved, you can enter. Otherwise, unfortunately, you are out of luck.
