F-1 student illegally employed

What if a F-1 student has worked

without employment authorization?

The said student has paid taxes

and filed returns. Will that affect

her when she's applying for H-1

down the years? Or for Green

Card?

Can USCIS find out such stuff (i.e.

whether an F-1 student has a

history of working without

authorization)?

You should never make misrepresentations to USCIS. With the proper advise, working without authorization would not necessarily prevent you from obtaining an H-1B visa or a green card in the future. I strongly recommend that you have a consultation with competent immigration counsel.
