Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
father citizen
Hi I have lived in the U.s illegally for 8 years I am now 24 years old. My father is a citizen but we have not spoken in years. I want to know is there anyway I can get a greencard or even citizenship since he became a citizen before I was 18. If so what information do I need.

Re: father citizen
It might be possible but I would need more facts. For the greencard, you would need your father to petition for you. If you have not talked to him in years, that might not be possible. But it is always worth a try. The better option is citizenship. But for that I would need dates of birth, dates in U.S., etc.
You can email me. We have an office in NJ.
