Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
fiancee+child eligibility?
I am a naturalized U.S. Citizen and intend to file a petition for my fiance who is an Indonesian national. She also has a 4-year old child. My question is whether it will create complications to bring her child later to the U.S. We intend initially only for her to come to the U.S., to adjust and after approximately a year to bring the child who meanwhile will live with her parents.
Thank you,
BB

Re: fiancee+child eligibility?
A child may follow the parent as a minor child of a fiance under the K-2 visa. For a more detailed explanation, feel free to call the office for an appointment.
