Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
I have friend who was falsely arrested due to a psychotic ex girlfriend who filed bogus complaints against him, In addition she called and text him repeatedly. When he went to file a complaint against her, the cop detained him because of all the bogus complaints she had filed before. She did not show up for any of the court dates and my friend refused probation since he did not commit any crime. The case was dismissed and the records were sealed. Would this effect his application for citizenship?

As long as it doesn't show up on his criminal record your friend should be okay.
