Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
I have a green card, living and working in the US (New York) and have applied for the 'family reunion act' for my wife and our son. They are here on a non-immigrant visa. I need to change their visa to immigrant status as soon as possible, as their petion has not been approved yet. How do I do this and fast? We are from Russia.

Your dependents should have been included in your "greencard" case. If you filled a "following to join", then their case would be processed through the NVC & U.S. Embassy. If they were already in the U.S. at the time you immigrated, then their adjustment of status applications should have been processed along with yours.
I would need to know exactly how they applied for U.S. legal permanent residency as your derivative beneficiaries. I do not necessarily see a way for them to immediately adjust status without far more information about your situation.
Thank you.
