Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
H1b visa for medical resident
I am presently a medical student with F1 visa at upstate medical school. I wish to know if i can apply for an H1 visa without having to sit for the step 3 of USMLE

Re: H1b visa for medical resident
You will need a medical license in order to apply for your H-1B, and generally USCIS requires that you have passed the USMLE Steps 1, 2, 3 and the ECFMG.
