Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Regarding H4 status
I got my H4 status by obtaining an H4 Visa. My I-94 states that the H4 expires on June 30. I will not be able to obtain another H4 visa before June 30. Does this mean i will be out of status? Is there a grace period?

Re: Regarding H4 status
Your H4 status is dependent upon H1B1 Prinicpal. You have to look into the H1b1 principal status to determine your status.

Re: Regarding H4 status
Your status expires on the date stamped on the I-94. Once you go past that date, you have overstayed, and you are out of status.
