Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Hello-
I am a business owner (I own 2 restaurants in NYC) on a L-1 visa (which expired in July 2010). My I-130 got denied yesterday, and my I-485 is currently pending. My travel documents and work authorization has been approved 2 weeks ago, and my L-1 renewal is currently pending (submitted in July). USCIS had requested additional evidence 2 weeks ago which my lawyer submitted promptly, and they still denied the I-130.
What are my options? Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you,
G.A

Based on what was your I-130? It is not clear why it was denied.
Was I-140 filed?
If your lawyer does not have answers to your questions, your should immediately seek professional advise, because time to appeal USCIS decisions is very limited.
Good luck!
