Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

my husband was ordered removal 5-6-2000 in absetania at 17vrs.old we married 5-3-2002 our first of 2 children was born 5-24-2002 our 2nd child 6-1-2007 im disabled and my family WILL suffer w/out him he has a detainer and will be transferred to fed.plaza 12-11-09 is there anything we can do

For Example:

Was your husband convicted of a criminal offence and then asked to leave?

Did you at anytime file a petition for your husband to be granted leave to stay in the US after you were married and/or after your children were born?

Is your husband or has he been working and paying taxes?
