Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
I-485 denied based on missing documents
Dear attorneys,
Just to clarify my previous post. I applied for I- 485 based on marriage. The immigration approved my I-30, hovewer my visa expired on 06/02/09 and I have only 30 days to re-open or leave the country.
Please read my previous post and replay.
Have a great day,
Sylwia

Speak with an immigration attorney. You may be eligible to reapply to adjust status, but should do so, or appeal ASAP.

Yes, you need to speak to an immigration attorney. The expiration of your "visa" (what's important is your I-94) may not be detrimental to a future filing based on a bona fide marriage to a US citizen.
