Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
immigration.
I am a British Citizen looking for sponsorship for a H-1B Visa. I am looking for a job in US Real Estate. I have applied to a number of companies but they do not 'employ' their employees as such. They are partners of some sort to the company. I was told by one firm they would like to have me, but they cant sponsor me as they don't have employees. They asked me for a letter from an attorny in order to get the visa. What letter do I need from an attorny? Is it possible to get a H-1B visa in Real Estate?

Re: immigration.
It may be possible to get an H-1B visa in real estate, but right now there are no H-1B visas available (there is a cap on the number of H-1B visas issued each year). You may be eligible for anohter type of visa depending on the job, your previous immigration history and employment history.
