Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Immigration H1B USA

I am an Indian citizen and currently on OPT in New York. I have done my Masters of Business Administration from Dowling College, NY (Regionally Accredited)

My Bachelors Degree is from an Online University (Breyer State University, Alabama) which is not regionally accredited. I have completed my Bachleors Degree in about 2 years on a Fast Track.

I am looking to apply for an H1B visa and an employer is ready to sponsor me. I am concerned if i can apply for an H1B visa if my Bachelors is from a university that is not regionally accredited and which does not include 4 years full time education.

I have completed my Masters in 2 years full time education from New York.

Re: Immigration H1B USA

Dear Sir/Madam,

While one of the requirements of H-1b is that the applicant must have a bachelor's degree, there is also the possibility to have an evaluation done if there is any question as to your eligibility. Because of your Master's degree, you would most likely qualify.

It is advisable you consult with an experienced immigration attorney before completing the application.
