1. what documents do i need if i want to travel to malaysia/thailand ? and is it okay for me to get back here ? cause i heard some rumor that if you are only permanent resident you cannot go anywhere outside US or they might be able to take away your green card.

2. is it possible for me to visit my own country where i got asylum from or i have to wait till i got my citizenship?

3. as a green card can i sponsor my gf to get US visa easier? like writing a recommendation letter or reference that stated i will responsible for her here .

4. if my gf come here as a tourist and we get marry here. how long till she can live here ? or does she have to stay here for a while?

1. With regards to your travel, the requirements are based on what country you are from and what the country you are travelling to (Malaysia/Thailand) requires.

2. If you received asylum in the US, it is not advisable to return to that country as an asylee or green card holder, however you should speak with an immigration attorney to confirm and discuss your travel plans.

3 & 4. With regards to your girlfriend, you should consult with an immigration attorney to discuss her options with regards to entering the United States and applying for permanent residency here.
