Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
Immigration
I live in New York. I came to this country when I was 8 years old ilegally. I recently turned 18 and graduated high school. My parents are also ilegal in this country. I was wondering if there is any way to fix my status so I can go to college or if there is anyway to go to college without being legal?

Re: Immigration
You should consult an immigration attorney because being present here illegally, you and your family risk being detected by USICE, who can detain you and your family and place you in removal proceedings.
Depending on the full facts of your case, a consultation with an attorney should help you and your family determine whether there are any options for all of you to legalize your status here and whether you can go to college. Most colleges will require evidence of your status, but you may have other options depending on the facts of your case.
