Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

immigration problems

My husband has been here for 4 years and he came to the us on a c1/d visa through the crew member ship. I am trying to filr for him i know that i need to file for the i -130 form but we was wondering just how he can get the green card, we have been married for 3years and yes i need to know what form i need to file for and if i can do it myself? Thanks!

Did your husband obtain the C-1/D visa in order to join a ship or vessel, or was he just in transit? What does his Form I-94 state? Depending on the circumstances, he may or may not be able to obtain a green card. I strongly recommend that you consult an immigration attorney to discuss his options.
