Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I will like to know just how I can apply for my husband, He has a C1/D visa and I will like to apply for him I would like to know the procedure that I will have to take and we have been married for 3 years and he needs a greeen card or something to lead him stir.

He can apply for a green card based on his marriage to you (if you are a US citizen). You can do it yourself by filing out lots of forms at www.uscis.gov or retain a lawyer to help. My fee is just $495.

Considering the type of visa your husband has - he might not be able to change his status without leaving USA, it is important to carefully check his current status. you should probably consult an attorney prior to filing any documents.

Was your husband entering to join a ship or vessel, or was he just in transit? What does his Form I-94 say? The answers to these questions are crucial for determining whether he can obtain a green card.
