Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
immigration process time
I would like how long will it take to get approved and what the process time is. I am filing to adjust my visa status to permanent resident since I married an american. I know I have to go for an interview and finger prints. How long will it take in total for me to have the permanent resident card.

In my experience, it takes about 10-12 months on average.

It depends on where you live. In NY normally it takes a year up to two years. However, some cases were delayed for many years.
