I was wondering if there is any way to fix my legal status if I am illegal in this country and came here illegaly. I have a son who is 4 and was born here his mom is also ilegal. I do have a sister who is a citizen . Is there anything I could do to fix my status?

Probably not for the immediate future. Your sister can file a petition for you but the fourth preference currently has at least a 12-year wait depending on the country of origin. In the meantime, you would not be eligible for any immigration benefits. Until some version of immigration amnesty bill passes in Congress, this would not resolve your current immigration status problems.
