j1 out of status got married on permanent resident,wanna change last name
hi! hoping for a help on my case..
I am on a j1 visa when i enter here in U.S.,,I over stay or could i say I am out of status right now,,and I got married on permanent resident and he plans to file for citizenship this year..could it possible for me to change my last name to his after he petition me? or do i really need to change my last name soon coz i got married? and addditional to that I already waived my 2 year rule on my visa,,

I will note that your question is not very clear to me.

If you are legally married you automatically take your husband's last name.
