Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

J1waiver & H1B

I already did submit J1 waiver paper.

And My J1 expiration date is this september, and this April 1st, will going to submit papers for H1B that could work directly my end of J1 statue.

But J1waiver is not issued yet, What can I do in this case?

In order to apply for H1, you must be in legal status. Was your waiver adjudicated?
