Re: K-3

The current processing time for I-129F (which you also have to file in the U.S. together with I-130) for a K-3 visa is about 6 months in the Vermont Service Center. Only once I-129F is approved, may your wife apply for a U.S. non-immigrant visa in the country where the marriage ceremony was conducted (the consular visa process is likely to take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months). Keep in mind that there are usually other options (K-1 fiancee visa or IR-1 immigrant visa) that sometimes work better or quicker in the right circumstances. Contact an immigration attorney if you need further guidance.
