Can someone be deported based on past convictions like tresspassing (misdemenor) or DUI when they go to renew their green card or apply for citizenship

The question will be if this offense is classified as a felony or a crime of moral turpitude. And if yes, then a person might be placed in deportation proceedings. You should consult an attorney on this matter to examine your case prior to filing any documents.
