Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York
If my Lebanese husband obtained his green card when he married me 5years ago why is he applying for his American passport now? I want to know why my Lebanese husband who already has a Lebanese passport would need an American passport?

There are certain rights that U.S. citizens have (like voting) that Legal Permanent Residents (green card holders) don't have. Perhaps your husband would like to be a citizen for those reasons.
