Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Any possible legal status

Hello Law Guru Attorneys,

My situation is that I have a friend that came into the United States leaglly on a passport in 11/95 from Trinidad. She has been residing in the state of New York for over 10 years now. She has never filed for any papers of citizenship since then . She has been working in the U.S. on an off the books job for 10 years now. My question to you is that , Is their any way possible for her to become a citizen or some sort of legal documentation she can obtain for her status legally in the US as of now . I am trying to help her out any way possible. I would greatly appreciate any information you may give me for my friends situation.

Unless she marries a US citizen she is subject to deportation at any time.
