I am getting married to my girl friend who is a citizen.How long will it take for me to get a social and work permit

At least three months to get EAD and then you can apply for a SSN at SSA. All of this is premised on your eligibility to adjust status based on marriage to USC and her I-130 petition on your behalf, which requires a factual determination of your case. Consult an immigration attorney before making any filings with USCIS.
