Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Hi, my name is Mike.I have a question about immigration issues.I filed application for asylum on November 2010,and was referred to Immigration Judge who set up my hearing for November 2012. I am married and have 2 kids whom I haven't seen for 1,5 years they back home in Russia. recently which is today I found out that my wife won usa dv lottery. Now i don't know what to do, should I go back and come with her as a spouse?should I go on with asylum application and wait for her to come here?I am confused, I dont know how to stop my asylum application cause I applied for work authorisation, if i go back and claim green card as a spouse will i be rejected as i applied for asylum? Please help me with legal advise, thank you!

The first thing you need to do is to hire and work with an attorney. The purpose of asylum is that you cannot return to your home country because of a fear of persecution. If you return because your wife now has an opportunity, it's clear you were not being truthful in claiming asylum. Like I said, hire an attorney.
